AACC 2022   Exhibition Review July 26-28th, 2022 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting + Clinical Lab Expo have been held in Chicago, USA. The American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) is a global scientific and medical professional organization dedicated to clinical laboratory science and its application to healthcare. Founded in 1949,  now the AACC Clinical Lab Expo is the world's highest quality and largest annual event in the field of clinical testing, traveling to different cities in the United States every July. The event attracts exhibitors and visitors from 110 countries and regions, and has become a major venue for new product launches, collaborations and networking in the clinical laboratory field.     At the exhibition, Getein Biotech presented its three ace products: Chemiluminescence Immunoassay Analyzer MAGICL 6000, Immunofluorescence Quantitative Analyer Getein 1180 and Getein 1100, showing Getein's latest products and technological hard power in all aspects.     In this exhibition, Getein Biotech adhered to the corporate philosophy of "pursue excellence, deliver health", and while introducing our ace products in detail, we actively interacted with customers, demonstrated the instruments on site and answered their questions.   Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver that is caused by a variety of infectious viruses and noninfectious agents leading to a range of health problems, some of which can be fatal. An estimated 354 million people worldwide live with hepatitis B or C, and most of them are hard to reach testing and treatment. There are five main strains of the hepatitis virus, referred to as types A, B, C, D and E. While they all cause liver disease, they differ in important ways including transmission modes, severity of the illness, geographical distribution and prevention methods.    Hepatitis B and C Infection  Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection are major causes of acute and chronic liver disease (e.g. liver cirrhosis and liver cancer) globally, and cause an estimated 1.4 million deaths annually.     Testing and diagnosis of hepatitis B and C infection is the gateway for access to both prevention and treatment services, and is a crucial component of an effective response to the hepatitis epidemic. Early identification of HBV or HCV infection enables patients to receive the necessary care and treatment to prevent or delay progression of liver disease. WHO has sounded the alarm about the rise in Monkeypox cases in Europe and elsewhere. Since the first case of monkeypox was confirmed in London on May 7 (the patient was a traveler from Nigeria, where monkeypox has recently been endemic), more and more countries have reported cases in the following days and weeks, which is "atypical" for monkeypox. Monkeypox is an infection caused by the monkeypox virus, which used to be predominantly endemic in West and Central Africa. Confirmation of the diagnosis of monkeypox in the current domestic and international market requires a series of laboratory tests; among these tests are： 1) Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis. 2) cell culture isolation of the virus. 3) Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). 4) Antigen detection test.   It is essential to note that antigen and antibody tests do not provide monkeypox-specific confirmation due to the cross-reactive nature of monkeypox virus serology. Therefore, serological and antigenic assays are not recommended for diagnostic or case investigation in resource-limited areas. PCR and cell culture isolation of virus indicate virus presence in the sample to be tested.
